I am extremely grateful to EBC Learning for providing me the opportunity to deliver a Webinar on Digital Documents and Pleadings, with a focus on the legal framework behind them in the Indian context. Over the course of this Webinar, I examine both the technical and legal aspects of digital documents, also known as "electronic records" under the Information Technology Act, 2000. The latter half of the Webinar deals with best practices for storing electronic records for trial in anticipation of a litigation, and also the manner in which they would be proved during the actual litigation.
